Hammers or no Hammers. ??

Hi guys just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on building a double rifle of a shotgun action.
"Hammers or No Hammers" l like the look of hammers but what are the pros and cons and why...!!!!

Hammers are slower. Hammers can catch on clothing and brush, thus hammers could be broken off, or the tumbler can be broken with a side blow that would not injure an internal hammer gun.

One must be more careful of the rifle, is all, when it has protrusions like hammer spurs.

Yeah - I like the look of hammers too.
