Court Ruling Allows Minnesota's First Managed Wolf Hunt To B
      #217910 - 13/10/12 07:43 AM

On Wednesday, October 10, 2012, the Minnesota Court of Appeals cleared the way for the state’s wolf hunt to proceed as planned. The Court denied a preliminary injunction to stop the hunt that had been requested by animal rights groups. The court ruled that the groups failed to demonstrate that the harvest would cause their members irreparable harm. Although an emergency stay of the hunt was averted, the underlying case to challenge the legality of the hunt will continue. The groups will proceed with their claim that the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources did not allow adequate public input in the wolf hunt rulemaking process. Safari Club International will soon be asking the court for leave to intervene in the case and to join the state in defending the hunt.

WOW - here, seems to me, the game branch should be deciding on the wolf seasons and limits based upon the biologists recommendations due to their predation of the ungulates and bovines. Special interest peta-type groups should confine their attention on poky-man and other electronicly generated animals whom they feel at being harrassed and injured. Something they can really get crazy about.

think the statement from the story show above says quite a bit..basically, they need more time to get more of their crony's in the hat with them to file more law suite's etc..in another attempt to get it their way...
