For the second year in a row, My SIGNIFICANT other drew two pronghorn tagsfor anarea I frequently bow hunt....As I mentioned toanother member...we spottedthe herdabout mid-morning..they were feedingin a open field..no cover..howeverthey were feeding towardsa ridge so we circledaroundand gotahead ofthem..whenthe time came she madea perfect shot withthe 22-250at 342 yards..one shot --oneantelope down... Laterinthe day, we spottedanother group ..again gotahead ofthem..and this time she gotthe doe "again" with one shotataround 352 yards...incredible shooting on her partand very very happy ..plus we had junior outtherealong witha sitter to take itallin with us..he wasinthe truck until photo time...but still fun to havealongat the ripe oldage of 5 weeks... Sorryaboutthe quality ofthe first photo--not sure what happend withthe camera.. Ripp

Its a Tikka T3---with a Leupold VX-3 -- (4.5 x 14) scope....Bought it for coyotes --kinda of a throw in the vehicle and forget about it gun...
Like to keep a centerfire handy..carried a Rem. Stainless in .243 shooting 70 gr ballistic tips at about 3520 fps...shot lots of game with that from coyotes and p-dogs to black bear...
Thanks...

Thank you my friend..
I picked up a lightweight .240 Weatherby for her to use during our mule deer season...put a Zeiss Rapid Z 800 on it...headed out to the range this morning after my little class..hopefully it will shoot better than other lighweights Weatherby's I've had...
