This project looks very promising. I've been hearing noises for sometime about it, and it looks very nice so far. I hope he can keep up the good work.
This is not the only Fraser in the works, either.

Execution of certain aspects of the buttstock and side lever aren't to par. Don't know abt the internals.

Looks pretty darn good to me. Wonder what their price point will be.

I know nothing of it, other than what the site has to say. I found it creeping around looking for Fraser info. I have since heard a certain "Stephen Helsely" may be involved, althought no one seems to of that name.
This is a old website so who knows ???

Steve is a writer and a damn nice guy. I'll email him and inquire.

Ah' duh.....should have google'd him. Yes he is.
These "Field" looking Fraser's are in wonderful rifles. Thou the action seems to be want for a .450 or larger. Just a stout looking set up.
While I am a Weatherby Mark V Fan, as well as a scandanavian Bolt action fan (Sako, Tikka, Husq...etc...)to my eye and hand I do love the Daniel Fraser rendition of a Bolt Action.
.......similarly I will take a Alex Henry Single Shot, and then over to the Island for my doubles, a Best WR detachable ejector single trigger 450NE please and a Boss U/O in 20 along the lines of a driven gun. Thou admittedly I have little use and less skill with a shotgun.

I can see what you mean.
The action does look a bit big for the 303.

I have examined Steve's action in the flesh. In my opinion, it's damn near perfect! It's a great start to a Fraser project, and is ready for the final bit of detailing. I've been very impressed by it, and it's the action that is photographed on my website.
