Hi.

I really enjoy looking at the great looking guns on the post about the M 88 sporter.

That model, action, is one I know nothing about.
How was it?
Good? To use one day?

Interesting to learn, so all help(tip is good for me.

the action was maybe the best avaILABLE IN THE YEAR OF THE LORD 1888

compare a 24 ga hammer gun with a modern 12/70 automatic hammerless gun and you have the difference.
obsolete cartridge(8x57I), obsolete action, fine craftsmannship and the mannlicher en block clip thats to get hard today.
ask yourself if you like to deal with this! I have a M 88 sporter but have a 24 ga hammer gun too.

Thank you. I got it.

But, yes, I like to deal with it.
Same as I do with a hammer gun.

The 88 looks good in my eyes.
