Vic Venter -GunCraft-Fine Guns & Gunmakers in the 21st Cent

I just received my book today. Mr. Brown (DBLGN) has referenced "fitting the circle" and Mr. Venters' book in some of his posts concerning DR's. Amazon had it on sale for just over $19 and I managed to swing free shipping as well. I have just cracked the book open and landed on the chapter, "Jointing & Fitting the Circle".

By now you'll have thoroughly enjoyed Vic Venter's book. Lots of great articles too many favourites to list offhand.

Might I suggest Shotgun Technicana by Michael McIntosh and Double Guns and Custom gunsmithing by Stephen Dodd Hughes.

These books tackle some of the "black arts" of gunsmithing and are great reading.

Thanks for the recommendations. I haven't been able to start Mr. Venter's book properly as I've been quite busy with work and all. I'll definitely have to look into these.
