Early Weatherby Southgate FN Mauser actions

Hi, what do you folks think of the FN Mauser actions used on the early Weatherby Southgate rifles. I'm a hunter, so am really asking about how good (controlled round feeding, extracting, strength, etc.) not from a purist point of view.

I´m quite sure that Weatherby in those times used same FN m98 Mauser action as SAKO. I have one and it´s very high quality civilian model without a left side thumb cut.
