Not any thing except I have a friend who has shot one for over 35 years and loves it. He shoots the hell out of it and it just keeps on going with no problems at all. They are a little hard to find around here. I will buy the next one I see at a decent price.

The 24 was Winchester's answer to the Stevens and Fox doubles that sold at very moderate prices. It turned out that the funny looking and somewhat clubby 24s were excellent shotguns that never seem to die. They are strong and well made.

I will see a dozen or so 24s this weekend at the Big Reno Show...a twice a year gunshow that covers about 2 1/2 acres of convention hall space at the Reno Hilton. A couple of years ago I could buy a good 24 in 12 ga for about $275.00 to $350.00 US. Now a decent one goes for $500.00++.
