V/C Sagittaire O/U ?

Gentlemen , Does anyone have any experience with this V/C model. Considering purchasing one in 9.3x74R. Would appreciate input from anyone who owns or has owned one. Opinions of regulation and overall function . Thanks, chuckT.

The Sagittaire is a product of the production side of V-C. As such options are limited. The Sagittaire is the most popular express rifle sold in France and has been since its introduction in the 1960's.
It is a good solid gun and a good value at the price point but it is not a bespoke V-C from the custom shop.
They also have a solid reputation for accuracy.
I have sold a number of them in the US and never received a call back. This is often the case when the gun works as advertised, customers will call quickly if they have a problem but often no news means that they are satisfied.
I have shot several at the range and was loaned one for a driven boar hunt in France. They worked like they were suppose to.
