You are causing me great remorse for not moving to Australia when I was thinking about doing such in the 1960's.

Wounderful country you have!

Looks like 2 sets of antlers , so hard to tell on the points , from the pic , the antlers are short , if you know how old they are & they are young , I would not kill them , I would hope they are in a out of the way place & make a couple more years !

Ha ha ha, never noticed it has three front legs, until it was mentioned it was two animals. Photos are different from looking in real life.

It is so easy to see the other stag`s back line behind the front one.
I watched these two for several minutes as they frigged about in the clearing and engaged in a push around for a few seconds. All the good pic opps were viewed through my bino`s.

Neale you want to be as fit as buggery to get into the spot as its over the top of the range and requires some walking.

Sarg,your view`s on these two

Very good Staffan,it is amazing how many of the hunters on here and elsewhere missed the second stag as he is readily seen very easily.

Yeah JG but photos and seeing them in real life is a huge difference,

And most give the photo a quick glance, after all it is a photo of (a) deer (two deer) obscured by branches. Maybe concentrate on the antlers.

Sometimes when it is pointed out it is obvious as in the above photo.

Much more interest to the guy who might be looking to put a bullet in them.

A lot depends on the quality of your monitor, perhaps, or size - perhaps. That there are two animals was quite evident, from the leg #'s to the entire hip and back line of the one behind. The one behind appears to be a taller animal by 3" or more but that could be the ground, as well.

Seeing things like that used to be virtually impossible for me, until I bought a newer flat screen monitor with higher resolution.
