Last summer I had some friends shooting my Uzi on a hot day. The only way to manage the barrel was to remove it after each magazine, wrap it in a plastic bag, and bury it in the ice chest for a few minutes. That would be difficult with DR barrels.

Capt, A very cheap and easy way to cool the barrels of a double rifle between every four shot run on the range is with a can of canned air that is used to blow the dust out of your compuiter, and keyboard! I've used this stuff for years while working up loads for a new to me double rifle. It cools very quickly!

John I've never had a problem with condensation from the ones used for computers and I use it for computers and my double rifles as well. In my experience the aire from these dusters is very dry.
That being said, I do like the cooler you posted for cooling several doubles at a time.
