According to Rusty, it is $350 for two days of hunting (noon on the 22nd to noon on the 24th) lodging and unlimited hogs. $35/hog for processing. You bring your own food and drink.

For more details, I would contact Rusty directly.

Damn - I'm already taking time off that week for the EAA fly-in in Fl. Perhaps we can hunt in the Fall as well.

Looking forward to seeing the largest group of DRSS members we have hunted, this April 22-24 at Raggdy Creek Ranch. We will be 12. We should have the place all to ourselves, seeing how this is the max the place will hold. And no one will have to double up with JudgeG!

Wait a minute! I'm sharing a car with JudgeG all the way from DFW to camp and BACK!

Is there something I should know before hand? ;-)

Rusty, I'm bringing my digital camera. We'll have to make it a point to get a big group shot so we can post it here.

To the DRSS members attending the hunt. Please bring all you doubles. This just may be the largest assembly of double rifles on a single hunt since an Indian Tiger hunt. No doubt it would make a heck of a photo.

Wow! The pig hunt sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe I can get in on the next hunt. Give me a chance to test the Andrews. Please keep me in mind for the next outing. Thanks.

Terry

Clark as long as you don't let him snore!

OH yeah, you drive, let him tell stories. It's a lot safer than the other way around.

Hey Fellows,

If you get some real good photos and post them exclusively on the net here, I will donate some wine as prizes. As long as I can send all the wine to one address (as the freight costs for cases of wine to the USA are astronomical). If I send a dozen you can get one each but can fight over who gets what.

Unfortunately not my own wine this year but next year I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the label.

Think up a good competition idea and get back to me. Some ideas: heaviest pig, ugliest pig, best double rifle, least classic double rifle, best shot, largest bore, best BS story, ....... I want lots of photos and stories, don't necessarily have to be true.

All in good fun and not a serious competition I hope.

Any takers?

NE450NO2:

You ideas would serve to make some pretty cool pictures. Like I said, I'm brining my digital camera and will be snapping some pics during the weekend.

After the hunt, I can burn the pics to a CD and send them to all the participants.

I would love to get a group shot with all of us and our doubles, and maybe after the hunt another photo with our doubles and all that we harvested...since we can take unlimited hogs, the pile could be large!

It sounds like you guys are going to have one heck of a good time. Good luck to all, and be safe.

NitroX, I advise you to hold off on sending that case of wine until AFTER this hunt. From the looks of these participants a dozen bottles of wine just might be what it would take to tilt them over the edge!

I'd say a man might work up a powerful thirst after a day of hog hunting in northwest Texas.

Best to all! I'm green with envy.

Curl

No2,
Yes, a great idea and maybe a "chance in a lifetime" photo.
That's going to be a lot of doubles if everyone brings their collection.
Look forward to seeing them!
