Here is a short clip of the Tuskless portion of my 2011 hunt with CMS. This was primarily a Leopard hunt with the Tuslkess thrown in for good measure. She was taken with my 500NE, Merkel Double Rifle, using 570gr. Barnes Banded Solids. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a side brain shot instead of a frontal, and a bit far for my taste, but being caught out in the open, that's the best we could do this time.
This was a great experience for me to enjoy a Safari with one of my favorite hunting partners, my son Garrett who was 16 at the time. He did a great job shooting bait, including a nice Buffalo Cow. I'll post clips of his buff and the Leopard at a later date. I added a few stills to the end of the clip showing Garrett passing out toys and supplies to a local village with Elephant meat drying in the background. He learned first hand how hunting benefits the local people.
I post these from time to time because I enjoy watching other guys' hunts. I hope you'll enjoy mine.

First of all,thanks for sharing.
That grass is long but was a God send in the stalk. How far was the shot ? 30 yards ?.
How come you didn't reload when he went down and you retreated ?.
No having a go at you just would like to know.
Cheers Neale.

Range was about 50 yards. Really too far. I did reload. That part was just edited out.

Thanks for the video..
Each to their own..but in my experience...NO other hunt has come close to hair raising encounters and adrenaline rushes like hunting tuskless..NONE...

Agreed Ripp. Everything else pales. They are not quite the "gentle giants" as so often portrayed on NatGeoWild are they? If they were as hard to stop as Buffalo, NOBODY would dare tackle them IMO! Unlike Buff, Ele's will charge at the drop of a hat!
Caz, the YT name is aahogpilot100 but it is classified as "unlisted". You can try but I'm not sure you'll be able to find it. I don't typically list these things as public because I want to limit the spread into anti's hands. I did say limit as I know the enemy lurks here and in other places that I post. I just get really tired of the nut cases spouting off about things they have no knowledge of.

I got the video to work on my laptop. The problem (apparently) was my I-pad
- Great job BTW, must have been interesting to be in that long grass...
