A new (for me) Double
      #200203 - 21/01/12 04:54 PM

A Renato Gambia Safari 72 in .375 H&H Magnum I never figured I would ever have an O/U in a large caliber so this came as a surprise to me. I certainly wasn't looking for it.

Anyone have one or know about it?

Mickey

Very nice.

May I ask what is that Hex nut on the stock,
just behind the screw ?

Never seen a hex nut used before, does the stock
have one on the other side (for the other screw) ?

500, I think that is a cocking indicator!

I have always seen the cocking indicators as little brass pop ups on either side of the top lever, never like this before but as always, their is always a first time in the gun world.

Edit
well I found 2 more like it so it's not a one off, but neither description mentions C/I'S but the one's where I found them next to the top lever do mention C/I's in the description.

Let's see what Mickey has to say.

It has cocking indicators ahead of the hex screw. You can see them in the first two pictures. I do not know what the hex screw is but if anyone is interested it is on it's way to Las Vegas and will be at the WR Booth.

The barrels have to be opened all the way for the bottom to extract. A good reason to not have ejectors.

I have decided to sell it at the Convention. Asking $6500.00 if anyone interested.

I would have kept it if it would have been a smaller caliber as it is a very nice little rifle. Light for a .375.
