Hello Guys
I'm casting arround for a mauser or other euro style rear sling swivel - like a Brno Model 1 or 2 (all I can find here in NZ is the "Uncle Mikes" stud type). If you know of someone who might have one in their parts stash I'd love to hear about it. Ideally in 19 or 22 mm (3/4 or 7/8ths) width. Condition is less important that authenticity !!
Cheers

Someone might have the number for Mr Mauser in Brisbane.
He is likely to have some.

There is always the euro gear from NECG.

This is all Recknagel gear but the recknagel site only brings up the uncle mikes style. Claus Pommer who advertises (or used to) in the NZ G&H is the NZ agent for Recknagel.

There are a number of styles of swivels in the "Rifle Accessories" section of the Recknagel catalogue download.
There is also an Australian agent for Recknagel, who gets regular deliveries. Graeme Spraggon in Tamworth, NSW. If the contact details on the Recknagel site are out of date, he advertises on www.usedguns.com.au in the parts section.
For any one who does even an occasional rifle build, I would highly recommend that you get the Recknagel print catalogue.
Some serious drool material in that, and it's gratis, and sent promptly. http://www.recknagel.de/Joomla/en/catalogues/print-catalogue-order.html

Klaus might also have used ones, which might take care of the authenticity issue. He helped me with some that were a perfect match for an old German gun.
