Love the "built to hunt with" aesthetics on the 10.75x68. The sliding sight is a particularly nice, nostalgic touch. Thanks for sharing!

if you look without romance on the sight its totally crap like an express sight up to 500 yards on a big bore double rifle.
1000 meter with a 10,75x68

LOL, Lancaster, I have no idea what it is like to shoot at anything beyond 200 yards, and, I'll admit that I have never shot any animal beyond 100.

I guess the old timers just took the sights to a logical conclusion with 1000 meter markings. Does not make it any less cool. Or the rifle any less a treasure . . .

Thank you for your always interesting posts. Those are some beautiful rifles that you find for the forums.
