Here you go folks...

Anyone have comments on the patent action?
Note the adjustment screws..? What are they for?
Anyone know about the single trigger patent?
The stock looks like a replacement, with structural issues at the head above the locks.
The engraving is pretty cool, at the breeches and muzzles too!

Cheers

The important technicalities are: rifling twist and internal dimensions, please?

The screws merely appear to be pin retainers for floating, not spring loaded pins? Just a guess.

Daryl-

Not the screws on the fences, but the ones much lower on the action sides that have text engraved around them including the word 'spring'...

What I understand, you have to turn them in the direction the arrow shows, before you remove the sidelocks.

You can see the same on 500 Nitros old Lancaster wrist breaker.

What's a Spring Chanp? C H A N P Spring Clamp I've heard of, maybe a Spring Champ would be OK. misspelling? The arrow is cool, missed that too, feathers and a point.

Sven - would you be so kind as to measure the rifling twist?

Would this rifle be capable of handing any Lever Action-Marlin-type load?

That would be in the relm of 43,000psi.

Depending on the twist, I might have some loads with heavier than normal bullet weights, ie: 340gr. to 400gr. from an article many years ago in Gun Digest - might have been by Frank De Has. I'm quite certain I still have that publication if you are interested. Much depends on the actual rate of twist - and what it is regulated for.

I will do that as soon as I am home again. For the moment I am in west Africa on a job. Unfortunately this doesn't involve any hunting!!
What I understand it should not be any problem with any Lever action loads. It was nitro proofed in London when they changed the caliber from the original 370EX??. All this according the stamps I have found.

Hi

Rifling twist seems to be as stated in the CIP cod. 1 turn im 38 inch about!
But there is 6 grooves not 12 as stated.

I have just received som Hornady 300grs with wich I will make some test loads.

Daryl: I would be very intrested if you can send me a copy of that article!
