Valmet 412 combo - extra barrels?

I have owned the above combo for some time and I am very pleased with it. I have considered buying an extra set of barrels, maybe another combo or even a double rifle set and have looked around locally from time to time without any luck.
Last week I wondered into Trophy Arms in Essendon and noticed their line of Marrochi firearms, rifles and combo's. They certainly look very similar and they tell me they can order extra barrels -they have a set of 9.3x 74R on order at the moment for another customer.
The firearms I looked at were marked 512 S. My combo is extractor, double trigger and it is not an 'S' model - I do not know what the difference is there and would appreciate advice. So, if the Marrochi is a licenced built Tikka/Valmet/Kreighoff - how interchangeable would the barrels be. I'm happy to get a qualified man to do some fitting if that is required.
Anybody help me with this ........... or some other barrels for that matter?

Hi Tacker,

Have you 'Googled' the name etc?? I guess in the hands of a good gunsmith anything is possible but it would be better to get the original ones if possible as it may devalue the overall kit IMO

The current model line is I believe the Finnclassic.

I believe the barrels between the Valmet, Tikka and Finnclassic are all interchangeable with some gunsmith fitting required.

The instructions for the gunsmith fitting are included as a sticky on the NitroExpress.com forums.

Assuming of course they are all the "same" model. For example the Tikka M07 is NOT the same. The 412/512 etc are all interchangeable given the qualification above.

I know new barrels might not fit 100% having stuck a new set on my receiver and needing a rubber mallet with a slight tap to get it out again.
