Looking for a mauser mag- maybe someone can help?
      #193412 - 09/11/11 04:27 AM

I tried to contact K-Mag ( http://www.k-mag.co.za/rifles.htm )in South Africa for buying an magazine for the Mauser Ms420, poorly i get no response.
Also i have googled for an retailer, found none.
Did someone knows a dealer who sells K-Mag Magazines to germany?
Thanks , Mike

The mags for the MAS 45 or Model 45 Mauser .22 will work in the B series rifles (MS420B, MM410B, MS350B) and I think they will also work in the MS420. I've seen quite a few of these on gunbroker at modest prices.

You might also contact Classic Arms in S. Africa - they sometimes have prewar Mauser parts. (www.classicarms.co.za)

Final thought is Hoosier Gun Works (www.hoosiergunworks.com). They usually have a wide selection of magazines for German .22s

Good luck

Youre right, the Modell 45 mags works in the b-series, but i am looking for an mag for the pre 1930 Ms420. K-Mag produces repros of these also.
Its almost impossible to find original ones in germany, they quite rare.
But thanks for the adresses, i will try.
