I have an Haenel Sporter in VG++ to excellent external condition in 8x57 (.323" bore), nice case coloring below the wood line and minor case coloring on trigger guard/mag housing.
I have taken this rifle all apart and cleaned all old grease and minor corrosion, also bedded action around recoil lug and rebushed rear action bolt ferrel. Polished bolt internals/firing pin and exposed surfaces to as new.
Headspace is go +.002", Bore is .323" at muzzle and has no pitting, slight frost in grooves and wear in throat (180 nosler BTBT bullet seats 3.270" touching lands). I have been shooting 180/209 grain .3245" cast bullets only over 14-15.5 grains of A2400.
I have recently had the checkering on wrist refreshed with/over/on original pattern and it was expertly done. Stock has been cleaned and coated with two coats of clear danish oil. Barrel has a three leaf express rear sight, Front sight is day/night rocker sight leaf but spring is broken and is included under but plate, I have machined a replacement front sight to fit into rocker housing and is currently installed until someone can repair rocker front sight flat spring.
I am asking $875 and $35 shipping handling insurance to Continental U.S.A.

The fact that this rifle remains available is a living testament to my last shred of restraint.
It really is a sweet looking piece. I've really wanted one of these for a good long time...

As crazy as this might sound, I'd have no trouble in ignoring the rest (sell 'em) 'cause if I owned that rifle, I'd use none other for all or my big game hunting, here on out/in, even though it's a small bore. It 'tweeks me nicely.
might be the 'port' talking. (it's 9:10 PM here)

Very nice rifle. I, too, have exhibited great restraint in letting this gun go by. Someone will be very happy with this one.
Just a guess, 6mmintl, but do you work in an OR or sterile processing department? Just all too familiar with the blue wrap myself...

Barrel has a three leaf express rear sight, the original front sight "Blade" (night/blue steel day/silver) is intact with pin in buttstock until someone can repair rocker front sight flat spring.
The front sight is not repaired but is a machined replacement that fits in the original recess in front ramp sight housing. I have machined a replacement front sight to fit into front ramp sight housing and is currently installed.
$750 shipped
