Lubrication after thorough clean
      #192636 - 27/10/11 07:24 PM

Hello all

I have come into posession of a BSA 303 sporter.

After getting rid of 100 years of built up crud from every orifice, I was wondering if any (very small amounts) lubricant should be applied anywhere prior to reassembly.

Thanks

When I re assemble my rifles I usually spray them with Q20 and then wipe them clean. It protects the steel, but remember, oil attracts dust and it can become a grinding paste. Make sure you clean it properly and regularly inspect your rifles for dust and grime.
