Moose hunting with guest..
      #192071 - 18/10/11 06:19 PM

I had last week the german breeder of my new hunting dog visiting me, he had never hunted Moose. He was allowed to shoot calves and Bulls with more than 8 points. He saw a lot of Mooses, also one Bull that I think was big enough. But he was not able to shoot that one. On the last day he shot a small one. He also shot a Roedeer. He was also allowed to shoot Fallow deer. He looked pleased when he left.

Excellent Staffan. Love the photos and short story.

What was he shooting, or what is the double rifle in the photo?

He used my DR 9,3x74R. I really donīt want to lend it to somebody . But, he came by Ryan Air it was the easiest way, and as you know they donīt allow weapons. I didnīt know he was a lefty, I thought of lending him the Blaser or Carl Gustaf. But the only one that fitted was the Double, nice for him.
