Hi Larcher,

Thanks for the thoughts, as for the rifles, it was because these were the two Custom CZ550's that I wrote the story about but as would happen, I always had the 30.06 in my hands when the opportunity arose.

Wonderful trophys Jeff! It looks like you've had a wonderful hunt. I hope to be as lucky when it's my time. I'm actually surprised that you're wearing that heavy of clothes in Africa.. Especially without snow on the ground!

Hi Mike,

There was a real 'Lazy' wind blowing, went through you not around you but this is not uncommon in the Eastern Cape which Tophet1 warned me about and he was correct (As usual) as I originally packed 'Light' but it was suggested that a good jacket be included in my kit and thankfully I listened.

None of the books and calendars have arrived yet. I won't close the competition until they do, so it is still open.

If I was told that I could only hunt one species in Africa, I'd make it Kudu. They are just too cool.
