a belgian made double in 22 long rifle

an original belgian made double rifle in 22 long rifle is on egun just know. the rifle is marked with Canon de Galand and must have been from father or son Galand http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles-Fran%C3%A7ois_Galand
wonder for what it was made for - dont thinking it will sell for 3000 euro

Looks to me to have extremely thick walls on barrels, so I cannot help but wonder if this is a .22 conversion from some original caliber or gauge gun. Additionally, gun is of quite an old style double; not likely originally .22 caliber. Difficult to assess, but an examination of the gun itself, would quickly determine a thing or two about this particular gun and its chambering.

Cute little bugger.

It will be interesting to see if it actually is a.22LR or one of the other 5.6mm variations.

the seller assured that this double was made in 22 lr
looking into his other auctions show's that he dont selling trash usually
