One of the books will have it, Bothroyd or someone like that.
All those old writers that did all the patents, I know it is in one of them.

I think the system is the same as the Shotgun one.

Would like to see how the lever activates the sliding bite and the rising bite simultaneously as in a Rigby.
I could see the vertical rising bite easily activated with a cantelever off of the lever but space in there would be at a premium.

The intricacies of the various "patent" mechanisms and gizmos didn't seem to bother the guys in the showroom using them to sell guns and rifles.

The poor buggers out the back at the bench got to figure that stuff out!
