Clives Knives
      #183569 - 13/06/11 07:45 PM

I won a "Clives Knives" knife in a raffle a few years ago and know nothing about them. As far as I can tell, they are Australian made, and that's pretty much all I can glean about them.

Anyone know anything about them, I'll have to post a photo, but it's a really well finished knife and came extremely sharp.

Thanks,
DC

G'day 450 Ackley

I am Clive from Clive's Knives.Have been making mainly Hunting Knives for about 10 years as a Hobby.
Over the last few years a Kiwi sold factory made knives on Ebay etc and called himself Clive's Knives as well, however my knives are engraved with Clive's Knives one side and the other Made in Australia.
I think yours would be a 'Drop Point' made from ATS 34 steel [stainless]hardened to 59 Rockwell.
If I saw a pic mybe more info.

Clive.

Welcome to Nitro Express Forum Clive. Thank you for posting. I love the little Kangaroo on the sheath. Nice touch.

That's a very nice looking knife. You may need to become a sponsor and let some of the rest of us have a chance to buy one.

In real life, its a master piece. Thanks Clive !
The grind, polish, wood to metal fit and the subtle mosaic pins are a class apart. And my thumb is witness to the edge.Very fine, more like a paper cut...Perfect balance for my hand.Am very happy with the grip dimensions too.Overall-Go for it guys
