Sadly, jackrabbits have been low in number here since 1993.

500grains

Good stuff.

What's the gun / attachments being used ?
(So many receivers around nowadays !!! LOL)

Also, front sight looks very high (if that is what it is), almost in the way of the scope view ?

That is a Smith & Wesson .22 LR AR-15 knock-off. It is a plastic gun which weighs about 4 pounds. The optic is an Eotech with 65/1 reticle. I think it is the one that takes N batteries. And if I recall correctly the vfg is a cheapo from GG&G. That is my kid's high volume shooting practice rig.

My kid's AR15 in 5.56 has a Daniel Defense upper with Daniel Defense 16 inch CHF CL 1-7 bbl and A-frame front sight. It has a BCM mod 3 charging handle, a Larue LT110 mount, and an Eotech with the 65 moa ring and 1 MOA red dot. It also has a quick release mount behind the Eotech for the Eotech 4x magnifier, which is usually in a pouch. The forearm is a magpul MOE with Magpul MOE vgf. The lower is a CE billet (there are a million lowers out there...) put together with a Daniel Defense LPK, milspec buffer tube, H1 buffer, MOE grip and MOE butt.

My kid's mid range gun is very similar, but has the Trijicon 4x acog RCO with red chevron and windage hash marks on larue mount, and a DD free float forearm.

THe pic below shows his close range AR15 described above, but I took that compensator off and put a Vortex FH on it.

As a kid I enjoyed shooting hares, still do. Didn't have those toys to do it with however!

As always good to see your kids out shooting, Dan.

It appears to me that he has nothing to fear at all.

It's not really related but here goes. I'm picking up a Sedgley High Wall in 22 Hornet. It's in great shape but somewhere along the line they put an ERA one standing, one folding rear sight and what looks like and NECG masterpiece banded & hooded front sight on it.

Whoever had this work done was REALLY afraid of rabbits.

Nice to see that photo. No way you are allowed in Sweden to own a gun like that. But it would be fun!!!

The smile says it all...someone seems to be destined for Coronodo - take it from one of them (ST-4).
