We need a small pic for this forum on the main index page.
Post some photos you think would be great for it.
I can re-size photos to fit.
Have fun.

Surely Cpt. Curl could submit a good pic of a vintage brass mold and sizer from one of his rifles. That would be classy!

Great image Lancaster! I think it might be a little busy for a forum avatar, but I'll save it for my own sick obsession anyway!

I like the top photos of yours DoubleD, looks like a CBE 310 Cadet mould? Good pic with the mould on the pile of bullets.

I've tried this project before on other forums (Double Rifles, Mannlicher Discussion & Archive). It's not as easy as one might think.
Finished size of the avatar is 48x48 pixels. That's really small, and a photo with much detail gets lost at that size.
Here are some looks:

The last image is one I found hastily on my computer - from my A. Henry .577BPE original mould. I cropped it from this image:

There are some good choices here. I'll see if I can come up with anything else and hope others will put forth suggestions.

I like the large one of this photo but it looses it when reduced in size.
This is my favourite so far.
What do other people think? ie your favourites.

I like the first one, the old image of the hollow base bullet.

I am certainly not opposed to using a paradox round but I would like to submit this photo:

Here is another one John. I am not much on re-sizing and it looks much sharper in my album where it is smaller.

Sorry, having been away, this was not progressed. It will be now.
I think the Paradox bullet is the one, as it is clear, and succinct as a very small graphic.
Any other votes or suggestions?

Often the first choice is the best choice. It works for me.
