Yeah - have a "Keith's", or 2 or 3 and have supper later.
I agree, beer goes well with most meals. Brrrrrrrrrp.

You need a big wine for spicy food, shiraz or cabernet sauvignon.

Shiraz with an Indian curry but I'd rather a decent crisp white with a Thai curry

Well I've got a couple of bottles of Taylor's Shiraz, Clare Valley 2009 to try. Bloody lucky to find anything like that at a stagecoach stop-over like Warialda.

Last time I had a curry in a restaurant, at "British India" in Adelaide, we shared a nice bottle of Barossa Valley Estate (BVE) E&E Black Pepper Shiraz. It went well with the curry.

We were given a bottle of their Cabernet Sauvignon which was exceptionally nice and made me aware of the label.
The Minister for War and Finance still hasn't made an appearance today. Lol.

Taylors make a decent wine for the price of their product. I used to know some people there.
