I am currently looking at a Steyr Mannlicher model S/T in 375 H&H. I would like to hear anyones thoughts on the Steyr line, experiences etc. Thank you

I have owned Steyt Manlicher luxus in 270 and 7mm mag.since last 15 years and have harvested numerous animals with them.Accuracy is excellant and never any trouble.I have used factory ammo. and my own reloads with great success.You can never go wrong with this weapon.

I've had one for the last few years, love it!
Its taken everything from Warthog to Eland using mainly 300gr softs.

Mine has double triggers, but I believe they are also available in single trigger. Once you get used to it, it makes zero difference. The rotary mag, while plastic feeds flawlessly.

It is a high class rifle in a great calibre, go for IT!

Ive had a couple in 243, sold the first one and it took me years to find another. Mine are very accurate. The short barrel is a bit loud but the carbine makes for a good stalking rifle. I load mine with light loads and nosler partitions which my daughters have learnt to hunt with. dont notice the difference velocity wise with the short barrel.
Tried to buy a 458 of a client from california. a luxus which had a interesting history. belonged to the Sha of Irans family.Then a few years in Africa where the client worked and hunted client took a 101 point bull with it and winchester factory 510 bullets.
It was the first 458 I had fired. recoil was not that bad . Mick
