Keerweder Safaris Namibia
      #177880 - 30/03/11 04:16 AM

I came home this weekend after two weeks in Namibia. One week hunting and one week vacation at the coast. I hunted with Keerweder Safaris situated 120 km southeast from Windhoek. I had a fantastic hunting week, although it was raining a lot, luckily mostly at nights. Keerweder hunts on 30 000 hektar around the farm. There were a lot of games of each specie. Fantastic food, drinks, rooms and the very best of service. Very nice people running that business. At coast we stayed at Swakopmund and visited the Dunes, the Seal reservat at Cape Cross and Walvis Bay. Me and my family had some fantastic days!!! The only bad thing that happend was that my creditcard and pin was copied someway, although I only used it four times and only in these modern card maschines. Someone took out 10 000 N$. The good thing is that the Bank takes the loss. But be careful using creditcards, there are criminals out there!

Glad you had a great trip, despite the prick who ripped you off. Those are some wonderful trophies, and the person who took the photos deserves a big "atta boy".

Great photos. I think it looked like a fun hunt.

I like it a lot. The caliber on this rifle is 9,3x62. I get less recoil, better precision, less silence around me. But if you stand 50-100 meters away you hardly notice any difference. And no muzzle flash if you for example at night are hunting wildboar from a stand. It gets a bit heavier, but thats not a disadvantage I personally think on a Blaser.I have a .308 barrel that also are threaded and use the same silencer on that.

I used North Fork 286 g on this hunt and they worked excellent.
