Looking for extra barrel set for Krieghoff

Greetings Gents,

I have a krieghoff big 5 classic in 470 and Im looking for 1 or 2 extra set of barrels for it. 12 or 20 ga and a lighter caliber 375 or smaller. Can you give me your thoughts, recommendations, reffer me to a gunsmith that can handle this.

Bunduki,my recommendation is to send the rifle back to Krieghoff, for the barrels! It is not likely that a finished barrel set can be fitted to your rifle easily. It is far better to start with an unfitted barrel set, at the K-gun factory! The process will be expensive no matter which way you go, but the chance of a screw-up is far less, and less expensive in the long run to have this done by Krieghoff, IMO!

I tried going that route first but it seems very expensive and wondered if there were other alternatives. Would any of guys know a gunsmith that would build and fit some barrels?

When I looked into having Krieghoff fit a set of 9.3 barrels to my Big 5 they wanted $5K+ for the barrels & forend plus another $2K+ to fit them. Definitely not worth it....save a few bucks more and buy a complete rifle.
