Is anyone familiar with this title below? Is it worth buying for my library?

I have the book. I would say this:.. If you have all the others like Taylors, Mckintosh, Keiths or Boddingtons(1+2) Wielands book is just a waist of money. You can ofcouse do what I have done..add a book to your library, and have another author represent his views.
Everybody likes to write about " DG rifles", but really it all summes up around a Mauser M98 anyway so if you do not have Jon Speeds books, get them instead .

I enjoyed the first edition, even if I did spot a few erroneous statements. However, unlike a lot of people, that doesn't offend me, I just take satisfaction from the fact that I spotted them and think I know better! I don't read to have my own views confirmed all the time, rather to have them challenged. Like him or not, Wieland knows how to put a sentence together - I like his writing. Others I find very formulaic.

$29 and its mine!

I will have it then as I dont have much ref material on hand except using the net on DG rifles and i`m sure we all know that at times the net is not the place to gain gospel.
