Three of a Kind.

Not quite a fine English double, but I just received the third in a series of Pedersoli Kodiaks. I wanted to round out my collection of doubles with a 9.3 x 74 and a fellow member helped me fill the gap. The latest of my three Kodiaks is the blued versions while my other two are browned versions. I was going to save my pennies for a Sabatti, but I really like those hammer guns. I am rifle poor for a while, so I will concentrate on a couple of nice cases from Jeff's Outfitter.

Kodiak 9.3 x 74R
Kodiak 8 x 57JRS
Kodiak 45/70
Kodiak .72 (muzzleloader
Remington 30-06 side by side
Baikal 30-06 over and under

tarawa,

Being a huge fan of the 9.3X74R I'm going to jump in and congratulate you on the fine choice that you made to round out your collection. It's a classic and very capable cartridge for dropping anything that you'll run into in North America. Enjoy!

Regards,

Buchseman

The Pedersoli Kodiak is a lot of value for its price. You have a fine trio. I owned a Kodiak in .45/70 and found it to be a fine shooter. Very comfortable, accurate and quite well regulated. Congratulations.

. . . and photos please!

That rifle is one of the few named Kodiak that has actually hunted Kodiak.
You're going to have as much fun with it as I did!

Now that I have an extra hole available in the safe I am going to have to find something suitable to fill that void.

Nice set!

Any chance of a pic and maybe some loading details of the ML stepbrother to these three?

I will be trying some new loads with the ML soon. I just had a mold designed by Tom at accuratemolds.com
It is a 780gr conical. He added it to his catalogue on the website if your interested.
For now I am shooting a slightly undersized (.705) round ball and 90gr of 2GF Goex. Accuracy is so-so. I need a tighter fit ball and patch.
