The ground vegetation must be difficult to try a stalk on as it sounded very loud. How much would it really effect the outcome of a stalk. I know you wern't stalking the ele for a shot as generally an intention of a shot usually changes the game.

Von Gruff, if we wanted to get close, we could have. (As can be seen from the footage, and first young bull.) Then I had to wistle to get the bull walking up to us, attention. Further, the mic on Frederik's camera pick up all sounds, and amplify them.

Yes, the microphone on the camera is very good plus I pushed up the sound when editing as well.
But anyway it was very good fun/experience.
