Fascinating and interesting. I live on a farm just a few km away from were Bofors have their test field. In earlier days there was small farms inside the test field. When they were going to test something the families had to leave the area. Must be distubing to know that if something goes wrong all your belongings are gone! //S

Sad thing is that here were too few of those magnificent piece of weapons 71 years ago.

One of my friends owns a registered 20mm Lahti anti-tank gun. Finnish surplus, he bought it in the '50's for near nothing.

Dammit, this is a sickness. I just bought a Bofors 40mm L/70 inert round and also an inert L/70 projectile. Haven't received them yet:

Now the big question will be whether I should shine up the brass cartridge case or leave it in patina. What think ye?
