350 Gr bullets for 375?
      #17004 - 22/07/04 03:28 AM

This may be a Stupid question but, I see that Woodleigh makes a .375 bullet in 350 gr. What would you use this bullet for? How does it perform?

Rhino also makes a 350 grain .375 bullet. I have some that I haven't loaded yet, but intend to try on moose this fall.

Anyone have any good loads in this weight? I don't know if the pressures would maybe be higher maybe with the Rhino because of its construction compaired to the Woodleigh?

I shot Buffalo last year with the 350 gr. RN an PP woodleighs in the 375 and the 450 gr. in the 416 Rem.. I was more than pleased with their performance...All pass throughs on perfectly broadside shots and stopped on the off side skin on angle shots, expanded big and beatiful. I have shot 9 Buffalo with the Woodlieghs in 350 gr. weight.

I have loaded and shot the Rhino bullets and they shoot pretty good in my gun and require the use of IMR-4895 as they are longer than the woodleighs and take up more powder space...I have not used them on game.
