Would you please give a description of the target(s) used, including size of aiming black and scoring rings?

In high power rifle competition in the US we use a target with a 13" aiming black, which includes a 3" "X" ring (for breaking ties), a 7" "10" ring and a 13" "9" ring for competition at 200 yards (standing and rapid fire sitting).

The same target is used at 300 yards for rapid fire prone, except that the aiming black at that range includes the 19" "8" ring.

At 600 yards, the "X" ring is 6", the "10" ring is 12", the "9" ring 18" and so on. The aiming black includes the 36" "7" ring.

XaUSA,

The targets are dedicated animal targets with rings over the kill areas. Ernie Stalman of Badger Barrels is the President of the US Chapter and SBS 470 is the current International President. If you need more details, please e-mail or PM one of them.

There would be the second US match this year sometime in October at Lodi WI. If you could come, you would be certain to have a great time.

Good hunting!

I'm in if there is a SE Texas event. This sounds like a "blast", forgive the pun.
There was a "charity" event locally for an African community program that was an "African" caliber only shoot with reactive, running and charging targets. I heard of it too late, but understand it included many .375 H&H, some double rifles and a variety of nominal .40s and .458 bolts.
Please post if there are any coming up.

Question?

Black Powder Express

Minimum calibre .400

Minimum case capacity 110 grains black powder

My cases have a capacity of 120 grains of black powder, but loads are only 85 grains...(577/450 Martini.)

Is this allowed in black powder express?
