I can not be interested in this rifle, as due to the US "war on terror" it is impossible nowadays to get any old M98 Mauser actioned rifle into or out of the USA. So I have to leave this fine and rare rifle to the Americans.

I haven't had any difficulty importing pre-war Oberndorf sporters into the US from UK and S. Africa as recently as late last year. I don't know about exports.
