Nice 'Bow'. Small head compared to the body - good shape.

Nice fish. Must be a nice creek you live on.

Here's one from last week for me also.

I only get them through my stream in early spring, then they vanish until the following year so it is hit or miss. There are small brook trout but not a lot of large fish. Nice one Mickey, trout are my favorite for grilling.

Leg is hanging in there, still hurts some and slows me down but is better as each day goes by. I've been able to do some logging on my mountain and minor construction around the farm.

Every August myself and one mate make the trip down to a favorite Spring opening weekend river.
Last year I returned from hot Mozambique weather to Snow.

When the local Para River has flooded in the past we have occasionally found rainbow trout dead in the debris.

Usually the only fish we have in this "creek" are mud borrowing blind mullet.

Well, stock it with some better fishes!

Only blind sand burrowing mullet can survive as it is dry most of the year.

Bummer, do you have a dam or pond on your farm?
