falling block rifles

Please forgive me as I am new to double rifles and styles of them. But could a person build a double rifle in say the 416/500 caliber on a falling block rifle designed on something like the Ruger #1 style action? I have never seen a double rifle built on a fallling block and was wondering why? Thank you for your input and putting up with a greenhorn.

Thank you for the link. That rifle is totally awesome. I am looking into learning to build doubles and just like the idea of a fallingblock double. If you have any ideas on sources for the raw materials and such please let me know. Could you also reconmend good building books? Again thank you.
