The CDC web site lists quite a number of vaccinations recommended for travel to TZ. Would members here recommend spacing these out? I am concerned with getting so many shots at one time. Has anyone had problems?
I would space them out if at all possible. For one thing, the Hepatitus A vaccine is a two shot series that needs to be spread out (not sure what the timing is).
Yesterday I got Hep A and B, Yellow Fever and Typhoid. I was amazed at the small needles and lack of pain in the administration. No after affects at all.
I have also been told that locals in Dar require cholera vaccination. This is no longer offered in the states.
We have a one night layover in Jo'berg. Can one get the oral vacine at a medic center at the airport?
