Where is the gun coming from?

Is it a gun you bought some where and you are now bringing it down.

Need more details.

Verney Carron coming from Kebco over east - just need someone with an FFL who can send it and handle the exdoc's. I can handle the import doc's at this end. Ken at Kebco will send it right away.

Thanks
Matt

Ken isn't an exporter anymore?

That is who I would have recommended.

Have Ken look into how you get a one time personal export permit from the state department.

Yeah mate I used that Daves Sports and they were a complete screw-up... What happened I believe is that I made the initial arrangements and then had the gun shipped to them and then in the coming weeks they decided that they werent going to be in the exporting guns business anymore!!!!!! At one stage it took me six weeks to get an email reply... I was making lots of nasty phonecalls I can tell you, by the end. They did come good eventually and discoun ted the costs but that was only through a lot of hair-pulling on my part.

They are lucky - I think Ken Buch was just about to send the Feds to talk to them!!!

One of our forum members handles exports and imports as far as I know - Steve Bertram of Bertram and Co http://www.bertramandco.com/ You could drop him an e-mail and check.

Good hunting!

Matt, I have a 458LOTT barrelled action about to be sent over from Cal. Perhaps we can share the costs with a joint shipment?
