I do not think they ever went away. Mark is a second generation owner, his father Ian owned it and passed it on to Mark. The Crudingtons have owned the Gibbs name a very long time, At least since the 60's. Mark specializes in making stocks for handicapped hooters too. Some neat stuff for sure.

Don't know where, but I heard some time ago that the I M Crudgington Bath premises were being closed down and the stock liquidated or something like that. Must have been a rumor.

I spoke to Mark Crudgington last week, he has his workshops on a farm in Wiltshire

I do not have a contact but if you google G Gibbs gunmakers you can find him

He is a very nice guy, he took time to give me interesting information on a funny Gibbs Farquharson I

Why not? They're carried in slings all the time already.
