Looks like a Parker-Hale of some description. Which way do the sights move when you turn the knobs clockwise? If it's a P-H they move up and right.

the 9x63(which I did never have in my hands till now)shoulder looks very different from a 9,3x62. would be interesting to see it side by side with a 35 whelen.

xausa Thank you for the input, when you turn knob clockwise the sight mowes left and down, it seems they belong to some kind of target rifle, maybe on a Military 1909 Argentine variation of some kind ( these model was our ordonance rifle for a couple of decades), barrel of rifle to wich it was mounted had to be really thick.

Lancaster I dont have a 35 Wheelen to compare the 2 rounds, but comparing it with the 9.3x62 its shoulder is steeper something between 30-06 and 9.3x62, the neck is longer.Hope this helps.
