WEBLEY & SCOTT 55 Victoria St. LONDON
A .318 Accelerated. Express Cordite 37 grns 250 Max. 2.38 inch case. A boxlock double rifle with ejectors, and two triggers. Action lightly engraved, disc set strikers, and auto safe, Barrels 26 inch, quarter file cut rib, housing four folding sight leaves graduated from 100 to 500 yards and diamond fore sight, barrel extension spade grip & third bite., All metalwork restored to as new, the rifling and bore is excellent, A new extremely fancy English walnut stock and forend, oil finished to make the rifle as new. Cased in a new/old style brass bound case with full set of cleaning and gun case accessories.
L.O.P. 14 3/4 inch to Silvers pad. Weight 9 3/4 lbs

That is a beautiful gun - I must admit, I prefer a less ornate gun. However, what an odd cartridge for a double.

Beautiful, with a nice, trim profile. Would make a great elk rifle in the heavy timber.
