Seriously, very cool. I see the beak is forming.

Ours never reach that size/shape, and we quit fishing them before they start to get the salmon nose. Ours are imports from back east.

Yep, he had some teeth in that hooked beak too. That is the largest brook trout I have caught. Most of them never get that big in the streams. That fish was heavier than the two big rainbows I caught last spring.

I've caught several on the fly on the waters here in Pennsylvania, but never a Boone & Crockett trophy like that one!

Nice fish-A brookie that size would be on my wall. I caught some trout this year myself, but all rainbows. Had one small(5 inch or so) brookie hooked but he got away.
