Here ya go, trying to keep the flame of tradition of sorts alive in the mountains of Idaho. Old Gramps would be proud...

Buttered ryebread, herring, Esrom cheese and of course, some ranch beef sliced thin...

Bear leftovers on tomorrow's rugbrød. I don't suppose that is traditional, but we make do with what we have.

Looks beautiful, but that fine china is not as practical as the little wooden flat for buttering the crispbread!
