Mauser 22lr & 6.5 Swede
      #141469 - 02/09/09 02:47 PM

heres my Mauser 22lr, still fininshing the stock. Been restock with some Australian walnut, I also recently put on a new old english recoil pad and I'm just giving it some oil at the moment. My 6.5 x 55 swede beside it for comparison.

Good stuff Pablo.

Please keep us informed on this Mauser forum on your Mauser .22 project.

My Grandfather had a Mauser .22 and one day it may end up in my hands. Probably need LOTS of work.

More pics of the actual rifle and action would be appreciated.

Pablo, that's looking very good. Look forward to more photo's. Did you restock the Swede yourself?

Keeper, welcome to the forum.

I believe the overall board is: "Shooting & Reloading - Mausers, Big Bores and others" and this would fall under "others".

Cheers, Chris

Rockdoc,

This is a Mauser forum. People can post about their Mauser pistol if they like, and probably have in the past.

Of course most of us classic rifle nuts probably talk about the Mauser 98 99% of the time.

As said, I personally am keen to see any Mauser .22 projects as I will have one myself sooner than later.

I agree with Von Gruff, not the way I would enter a new forum with my first post ....

Lets get back to that lovely little Mauser .22.

Fella's unfortunately KEEPER has similiar DNA to myself ! also his sense of humour is somewhat lacking and he tends to post twittish comments. Maybe if he finds the time he will post some of his mauser photos and recent Kills
