Agree totally---not hunting--shooting maybe...but each to their own...

NO
You only have to ask yourself why the lions are in a high fenced (presumably game) ranch. The area is too small for lions to play a useful purpose in wildlife management, i.e. controlling herbivore numbers. They are there for cash only. Wouldn't surprise me if they were fed too, after all, would you want them harassing your valuable kudu, zebra, gemsbok, sable, etc??? Keep em fat and sleepy and they won't hunt as much.
Of course I could be wrong. If they're wild and have found their way into a ranch where they are not wanted, slightly different story perhaps?

I don't like predators much, so I'd shoot them.

I wouldn't pay to do so, mind you, but I'd shoot them.

Gryph.

I see nothing in what you've posted that says you're guaranteed 4 lions in 5 days.

If its on offer its basically on the table as in put the dough up and you will get your "x" number of lions .... "how many would you like to shoot Sir"
read between the lines. Its no hunt its a canned shoot and for a bullshit price, do a comparo on the price as to how many Cape buff you could hunt (wild) for the same dough.

well as some above suggest they are a rare breed!

But yes a true wild and free track, spot, stalk lion hunt might be worth the bucks that one needs to shell out to obtain a specimen of.

I stew about canned hunts prices more than anything and find it hard to imagine the multi thousand dollar fee`s for this sort of shooting.
Yes its relevant as to how many bucks you have in your kick of course and to some 50 g for a shoot is sfa.

And back to you N IMO five bulls would be far better value than one lion cobber...
